I'm sitting here with Kenna on my chest and just loving how she konks out after her bottle. I thought I'd record a few of the differences between Cohen and McKenna because they truly are like night and day. I love this about them because so often people refer to them as "the twins" (we do it too), but their differences solidify that they are not a packaged deal, they are their own tiny people.
Other than the obvious gender and size, here are the differences:
Kenna is content wherever she is and doesn't always need to be held.
Cohen prefers to be held very close and "in" something - the bed, bouncy chair, swing, etc.
Kenna eats 5 ounces every 3.5 hours like clock work.
Cohen eats 3 ounces every whenever he eats.
Kenna does not like to be swaddled as her arms can't flail around.
Cohen demands the swaddle.
Kenna has a very round head and face, chubby fingers and thighs.
Cohen has an oval face and head, skinny fingers and almost no thighs.
Kenna has brown hair.
Cohen has blonde.
Kenna wears 3 month clothes.
Cohen wears newborn.
Kenna couldn't care less if she's stationary or moving. She's happy happy happy.
Cohen prefers movement most of the time - thank god for BabyBjorns!
